An Italian DJ called “Banana” once had an internet video series called ‘Banana Eats’ on Vice/Munchies. In this episode (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHH8urpHiVI) he eats at a fried chicken joint in Rome called Legs that appears to make pro level, simple, delicious fried chicken sandwiches, with one of their hit offerings featuring breaded and fried broccoli romanesco. Piecing together info and clues from the chicken sandwich recipe shown in the video, I came up with this. Legs’ layering of different but basic dressings and slaws really elevates this uniquely delicious crunch bomb. Take time to seek out a quality bun.
